Cefazedone is chemically (6R,7R)-7-(2-(3,5-Dichloro-4-oxopyridin-1(4H)-yl)acetamido)-3-(((5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thio)methyl)-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid. It is also known as Refosporen. Cefazedone is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Cefazedone can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Cefazedone.
