Cefadroxil S-sulfoxide (USP) is chemically (6R,7R)-7-[(R)-2-Amino-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3-methyl-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid 5S-oxide (as per USP). Cefadroxil S-sulfoxide (USP) is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Cefadroxil S-sulfoxide (USP) can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Cefadroxil.
