Cefalotin EP Impurity D is chemically (5aR,6R)-6-[(Thiophen-2-ylacetyl)amino]-5a,6-dihydro-3H,7H-azeto[2,1-b]furo[3,4-d][1,3]thiazine-1,7(4H)-dione (as per EP). It is also known as Cefalotin Lactone (EP). Cefalotin EP Impurity D is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Cefalotin EP Impurity D can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Cefalotin.
